Aetrix Foundry is an independent Mac software studio run by Nimit Bhandari. This policy explains what data the Duplex app and this website handle. The short version: Duplex collects no analytics or tracking, and the only data it ever sends anywhere is your license key when you activate it.
Duplex runs entirely on your Mac. It contains no analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising. It does not create an account or profile of you.
The only time Duplex communicates over the network is license handling. When you activate a license, and periodically afterward to confirm the license is still valid, Duplex sends two things to the license provider (Dodo Payments):
Nothing else is transmitted.
Once a day, Duplex asks GitHub whether a newer version has been published, so it can tell you an update is waiting. The request reads a public list of releases and carries nothing about you, your Mac, or the instances you have created. Duplex never downloads or installs an update on its own. You can switch the check off at any time in the Duplex menu, under "Check for Updates Automatically".
Apart from that check and the license handling described above, Duplex makes no network requests.
Duplex creates isolated copies of other apps (for example Claude or Slack) with their own local data folders on your Mac. Duplex does not read, collect, or transmit the contents of those instances. Each wrapped app is governed by its own developer's privacy policy.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. They collect the billing information needed to complete your purchase under their own privacy policy. Aetrix Foundry receives limited order information (such as your email address and license key) to deliver your license and provide support. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
aetrixfoundry.com is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Standard server logs may be kept by the host for security and reliability.
You can deactivate a license from within Duplex at any time, which removes that activation from the license provider. To ask what order information we hold, or to request its deletion, email dev@aetrixfoundry.com.
